Drill Setup

1. Use a small space on your practice field—no need to set borders at this time.
2. Split the team into groups of two.
3. Each player needs a ball.

Drill Instructions

1. Designate one player as the leader and the other player as a follower.
2. The leader is free to roam anywhere in your practice space.
3. The follower must follow the leader very closely, attempting to mimic every move.
4. After a minute, switch the leader and followers' roles.
5. As an alternative, have ONE leader, and the rest of the team follow.

Drill Coaching Points

• Players must keep their heads up and eyes on the leader to know where they are going and their next moves.
• Players must keep the ball close for a quick change of pace or unexpected movements.
